Using current version of VistaChecking an ISO image of 507 Mb. FSUM worked easily!

I was looking for a program, and still am, that would find the differences between files on a CD and what the operational files on the HD were. I found FSUM wasn\'t the solution. At least not the way I wanted. I tried \"winmerge\", which made the search even more of a \"needle\" in the pile. So I have to see if my problem is related to \"uncompliant\" files obtained after the initial install.

A very nice program Despite not having a gui this is pretty easy to use command line program.I found it to be very fast and efficient but then again I only used it to chech the crc from some files I downloaded not to create a crc list.

fsum review nothing bad about the app. i just dl'd before i knew how to use it. but i do think it could use a bit of revision to make it a god like open source product.I would really place more emphasis on the help menu. kinda make a general walk thru as best u can.

I was unable to use the program. After typing in a search term I would get no response. I later removed it from my computer.

Trusty files computer freeze. I would not recommend this to anyone. I downloaded it and it froze my computer completely up. I could not open anything on my computer. I finally rebooted my computer, and got it uninstalled. What a nightmare. I will never try to install it again.

I downloaded this only for the purposes of checking an md5 and it did it well

I like this tool. I just wish it had SHA-224 but it has four other SHA algorithms. The reason I mention SHA-224 is because it is listed as one of the five approved algorithms in FIPS-180-3.

it is a very good tool, but one thing is missing from my point is whatever checksum is coming then one more option should be there so that we can check the checksum with the desired check sum for verification. Basically need one area where you can verify your checksum with the desired one.

I found this product exceptionally easy to install and use.. I have been using it in classrooms to show students the concept of Hashing.. Would highly recommend it to anyone

no use at all Downloaded the Trustyfiles P2P sharing, installed, everything as it should be, open the programme and that is as far as it will go, the whole programme freezes, uninstall it and go through the whole process again only to get the same results again.Regards D. Jordan

Opinion. Hello it is working well in fact it is fresh to me this hash subject itself. I have checked OS for example XP and vista hash numbers compared to mücrosoft ones. I can obtain a product a product original or not. As I said before this hash concept new to me. As summary useful and working well. Thanks.

No worky on Vista Aplication would not run at all on windows vista where i tried it. it installed fine, but died on start up.

It is really a great work.Although it is a complete work, hence if it has some extra properties it will become more informative and attractive:1).
